We ...Met Kelley a few times back in the late 70's. We took a class together - Swift Water Rescue -on South Fork American River - in Coloma. Following the class we took a North Fork American trip with the instructors from Tuolomne. Over the years I would see something about her rafting career - I think a SOBEK expedition down some amazing river gorge and - there she was as a paddler. So lately some friends of mine went to a Friends of The River event and bought "Three Women" and just gave it to me to watch yesterday - which I can't wait to do. But, was VERY disheartened to hear of her medical issues and hope she is recovering well. I, myself, had some long term neck and rt. shoulder problems from rafting (repetitive stuff) and a trauma to my neck at work. I can only imagine what Kelley must be going through and wonder if there is anything I can do for her. Still living in Sierra Foothills but retired now. Can I write to her? I would love to give her -at least - some moral suppport. Gotta get her back on the water............sosilver1https://www.blogger.com/profile/12107543515857822497noreply@blogger.com
